My work delves into the beauty and detail found in the disintegration of forgotten places. Forgotten Perth involves remembering what contributed to and was once important to the history and development of Perth. This collection incorporates digital prints of photographs taken inside the abandoned Fremantle Powerhouse, collaged to create unique shapes. Perth though it’s a smaller city in the world, I wish to really represent its rich history through my textiles. As I enter the fashion industry overseas, I would like to take a little bit of Perth with me to show the rest of the world.
